Damon Ray

     Welcome Back! My name is Damon Ray or as some of the students call me "D-Ray". I am a middle school PE teacher here at The Gordon School. I graduated from The University of Rhode Island in 2001 and returned to academia in 2007 at Rhode Island College. I worked as a substitute for three years all around the state of Rhode Island before accepting the middle school PE position. I'm starting my sixth year here and I've really enjoyed the experience, my school family, and the community!

    I'm married to a wonderful woman named Rhea who is an accountant. We have an amazing daughter, Ava and two puggles, Lady and Jerzey.  When I am away from school and coaching I enjoy listening to music, gardening, excersizing and spending time with friends and family. 

    My goal as a physical education teacher is for kids to, not only, experience, but to enjoy a life full of activity and allow them to participate in activities that don't frighten or intimidate them.
